Emilio, more popularly known as Junjun, is the 2014 Philippine Movie Press Club winner for best indie movie production design for the film, Sonata. His involvement in stage, video and film productions as a director, designer, and cinematographer has shaped a multi-dimensional sensibility that very much informs his visual art practice in the last ten years. A painter and sculptor, Junjun is from Bacolod City and is a Mass Communications graduate of the University of St. La Salle.
