In its mission to help one artist from each residency build on their practice and medium, an artist residency project of Art Fair Philippines, in partnership with Don Papa Rum, ArtFairPH/Residencies grants financial support for five residency programmes from around the Philippines. With residencies hailing from provinces like La Union, Palawan, and more, Art Fair Philippines provides unique opportunities for artists to broaden their horizons as they travel, meet new people, and interact with the local communities. Each residency and artist specialises in different mediums, but the connecting thread between them all is the transformative experience of travel and community-building.
This year, ArtFairPH/Residencies will also showcase the work of two international artists who have joined the residency programme in The Orange Project—Iseult Perrault and Petr Hajdyla.
Orange Project aims to support and promote creative development through cross-cultural exchanges. Our endeavor is to create a platform for social learning and to promote participation through art, encouraging the exchange participant for knowledge-sharing and further contributions to the local art community.
