Karina Broce Gonzaga is a full-time visual artist and arts manager with a background in mass communications, hospitality management, and fine arts. Hailing from San Carlos City, she has held a couple of recent solo shows, as well as a two-man show with her artist-husband, Frelan Gonzaga, in 2016; she has also participated in numerous group exhibitions in Manila, Negros, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, and Baguio. In 2017, she was invited to an artist residency program in Gwangju, South Korea. A mixed media artist, Karina creates delicate works and installations that focus on themes of memory, tragedy, healing, and hope, among others.
