BACOLOD, PHILIPPINES — What constitutes a family in today’s times? Seventeen artists from Negros Occidental attempt to answer this question through a multimedia visual arts exhibit entitled “MODERN NEGRENSE FAMILY” at Orange Project from July 01 to 30. With ages ranging from 20s to 80s, this diverse group of artists represents three generations of Negrense family life, thereby conveying through their artworks perspectives and ideas about family very much informed by their locality, culture, and circumstances.
