Black symbolizes an array of things. Mystery, Sadness, Evil, Despair, Bad luck and many more. It is mostly denotes negative things and is used in art to depict the dark and ominous avenues of life. This has been the case since the dawn of man. Literature and art are clear evidences of this truth, like how light is depicted as the side of good, of change, of deities. Black is always associated with the opposite. It is depicted as the side of evil, of malice and of demons. But still, it is undeniable that there is an allure to the black, there is beauty in the simplicity of it that makes us gravitate towards it. Maybe it is the mystery, maybe it is in our nature as men to love the unknown, to dive headfirst towards the void, It is amazing for the most basic of color to evoke the most emotion out of us.

Conversely gold signifies wealth, status, luxury, power, and life. If black represents the dregs in society then gold represents the finest aspect of it. Gold has been set at the standard of opulence, it was made as by society and the powers that may be from a simple mineral to the symbol of wealth and power. There is also a darker side to gold. It can also be made to mean egoism, opportunism, selfishness and the lack of kindness and generosity. Like black there are two sides to to gold there is a side that make attracts people and there is a side that humans abhor.

Death is a concept that we try to steer clear of, as mortal beings, the fear of the concept of nothingness is constant. The thought that our consciousness will drift into the void greatly terrifies us. It is something true to us humans. Though death is one of the few unchanging truths of the world we often try not to talk about it nor make it as the main subject of art. Men have sought to contend with death through many means, but have always failed. The only approached that was effective was through art. Literature, Films, Paintings, Sculpting and many more avenues was able to immortalize people. Though not physically alive their visage and likeness will continue on.

This collection represents simplicity and the most primal aspect of art and in contrast also represents the elegance of the neo-art style.
